This comprehensive garden flat refurbishment in Greenwich addressed significant damp issues while transforming the property into a bright, contemporary living space. The lower-ground level Victorian conversion suffered from rising damp and poor natural light, making it difficult to let. Our team installed a comprehensive damp proofing system including tanking to basement walls, injection damp proof course, and improved drainage around the exterior. Once the damp treatment cured, we installed new insulated flooring throughout, fitted a modern kitchen with integrated appliances, and upgraded the bathroom with a walk-in shower. To maximise light, we replaced small windows with larger units (matching conservation guidelines), painted throughout in bright whites, and added strategic mirrors. The external render was repaired and painted, and the front garden landscaped. The flat now lets quickly at premium rents.
